What is ProMarshal?

ProMarshal is an AI-powered project management assistant that automates the coordination work that consumes a project manager’s day — task reminders, standup check-ins, team polls, and action item tracking — so you can focus on the project itself. It connects to your existing Slack workspace and Jira account. No new tool for your team to learn. ProMarshal works inside the tools they already use.

How it works

ProMarshal runs three agents in the background, each with a specific job:
AgentJob
Cadence AgentSends each team member a daily check-in via Slack DM and collects task status updates
Polling AgentRuns ad-hoc polls across your team and summarizes responses
Action AgentDelivers a digest of open action items and lets members mark them done from Slack
Alongside the agents, Action Items Capture monitors your Jira comments and automatically extracts follow-up tasks — no manual logging.

What you need

  • A Slack workspace (any plan)
  • A Jira Cloud account
  • A ProMarshal account — sign up here
ProMarshal works with Jira Cloud only. Jira Server and Data Center are not supported.

What ProMarshal does with your data

ProMarshal reads your Jira issues and Slack messages to do its job. It does not store raw message content. When an action item is captured from a Jira comment, only the structured output is saved — the title, assignee, due date, and status. Your original messages stay in Slack and Jira.
